Integrated Energy Therapies & Bodywork
What I'm passionate about is finding and making a shift in the root cause of the challenges each person is facing so that they can create a transformation in their lives. To do that we need to touch every dimension--physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic. Everything that manifests physically has an blueprint in the energy field and an emotional root that's buried in the body. When we find & work with those, we can help make a positive shift in a person's health and life. I feel it's so important to honor the wisdom in the body and energy and the healer within each person.
I integrate the healing arts of Polarity and Cranio-Sacral therapy, Reflexology, Thai Yoga, Lymphatic, Visceral and Swedish/Circulatory massage as well as Aromatherapy for the unique needs of each person. The Young Living medicinal and therapeutic essential oils are a key part of every session. I use energetic and physical forms of Kinesiology (muscle testing) to determine what's going to be most valuable for that person at that time. Every session is different and uniquely designed for each person. A restoration to the body’s natural state takes place and often results in:
- Relief of pain and tension
- Heightened awareness & creativity
- Reduced stress
- Strengthened immune system
- Increased energy
- Balanced nervous system
- Greater sense of well-being
When determining your therapy I integrate a variety of methods, including:
Polarity Therapy (founded by Dr. Randolph Stone)
Polarity Therapy is a comprehensive wellness system and is the energetic paradigm from which I work. It impacts your life on every level and helps you align with your own source of healing, with your own power. Blocked currents and disharmony in one’s energy field can result in tension, pain, disease and even illness. Polarity involves clearing, balancing and energizing the chakras and the energies of nature that we have in our own energy system--Earth, Water, Fire, Air & Space. Comprehensive protocols address and bring into harmony each system of the body - structural, lymphatic, spinal, visceral and autonomic nervous system.
Addresses the fluid aspects of the nervous system and connective tissue. Subtle but profound shifts can take place.
Thai Yoga Massage
An interactive form of bodywork, combining rhythmic massage, stretching, acupressure, energy balancing and deep breathing. (Called the "lazy person's yoga.")
A classical European massage technique of the muscles with special oils by therapeutic stroking and kneading of muscle tissue to promote stress relief. It is used to improve circulation, relieve muscle pain and tension, increase flexibility and induce relaxation.
A technique that uses pressure-point massage on the feet, hands and ears to restore the free flow of energy throughout the entire body.
Gentle massage to support drainage of lymphatic fluid, aiding in detoxification and boosting the immune system. Helps to relieve swelling, edema and bloating anywhere in the body.
The use of muscle testing to identify imbalances in the body’s structural, chemical, emotional or energy, to establish the body’s priority healing needs, and to evaluate energy changes. I use Kinesiology extensively in my work to determine what will be of greatest value for my clients.
Simple but powerful energetic exercises that anyone can do to open energy flow and promote balance and wellbeing.
